A GAME OF STRATEGY!
Assimilate is a strategy board game for one or two players. The objective is to eliminate all of your opponent’s cells from the field of play. The results of a move depend on how many cells are already in the chosen square and adjacent squares. Whenever any square reaches “assimilation” it will break out and send its cells into neighboring squares. If those squares are already loaded to capacity, they break out too, creating a chain reaction that can engulf a large area of the board.
The first part of the game involves placement of initial cells, without many outbreaks. As the board fills up, however, outbreaks occur with increasing frequency. The goal is to wipe out all cells of your opponent. It will be harder than you think!
This deluxe version features an enhanced AI compared to the original version, more animations and added sound effects.
